Onion Update and Crosspost Test

So far, my hanging onions seem to keeping. I should be able to smell something if they're going bad, and I don't see any obvious problems, such as soft spots. The weather has been relatively cool; right now it's 90F, and this is usually the hottest part of the summer.

I'm glad they seem to be doing all right. It's partly a variety thing, or so I've read.

I've read you should cut off the water a few weeks before harvest, and then there is a drying process, before you hang them in storage. If they last a few more months, it will get cooler, more like the recommended temperature for onion storage.
