General Update For December 2
Dec. 2nd, 2010 06:15 amThe onions, snowpeas and broccoli are sprouting in the side yard, but very slowly, as I gather is normal in cold weather. The last six cauliflower seeds all germinated in a baggie indoors, so now I sterilized some garden soil in the microwave and planted them in little pots on the kitchen counter. I realize that it's easier to buy cauliflower at the store, but all this agriculture amuses me to no end. I don't play Dungeons and Dragons, or read Manga comics, so this is my fun. I'm also considering tilling a new garden plot in the sunnier front of the house, but behind the fence, away from the wild rabbits.
The rabbits make the dog crazy, as does a mouse in the warehouse at work. He wants to catch that little bugger, but it runs inside pallets. His training classes are going well, and the trainer said she sees improvement in Halo. I'm going to practice all his new behaviors today, but I'm finding it hard to find enough time for that. It's amazing how much he loves riding in the truck, he's now one of those dogs that has his head out the window, even at freeway speeds.
