County Work And Cat Magnanimity

 I cleaned and mowed the land along the road. The county makes owners of adjacent property also maintain the county owned strip next to the street. I picked up the trash, chopped out the most noxious weeds, gathered all the dead tree branches, and then mowed the area. I plan on burning the tree branches tonight. All that work was a little hard on my back, but maybe after a rest, I'll feel better.

Cali spent the first 24 hours without incident in the side yard, with the rest of the cats. The dominant orange cat seems surprisingly generous towards Cali.
