Cheap Air Fares
Lufthansa just released an outstanding 1-Day Fare Sale to Europe from San Francisco. Fly to scores of European destinations starting at just $255 each way -- up to 25% OFF the regular prices! This is one of the best Europe sales we've seen in months. Just be sure to act fast, this sale expires at midnight EST on Wednesday.
Depart between Oct. 29-April 2 (Dec. 17-Jan. 11 are blacked out). There are way too many fares to list, but here are just a few of our favorite each-way deals from San Francisco:

The dollar is strong against the euro, so Europe is relatively cheap. If anyone wants to get these weekly travel bargains let me know.
If I had to choose, I would fly to Munich. My clearest European ancestry is Bavarian. Not German, as they came over before modern Germany was established, and spoke low German, were Roman Catholic, with more affinity towards the French than the Prussians (who were the proto-nazis of the 19th century). I would try to find the little Black forest village of Humbertshausen and drink a October beer wit mein distant relatives.
