On our walk this morning, some lunatic in the boonies started shouting threats from his campsite. Halo went into his coyote guarding behavior, and Dinah got her hackles up. Neither dog barked, and I never said a word. The guy quickly disappeared, muttering. My dogs average about 70 lbs each, and love me dearly. You see why people had dogs in the bad old days.
