I gave up on cleaning that infected computer. I found the security log with EIGHT pages of intrusion attempts and .exe programs attempting to access the internet, just this morning. I couldn't reach legitimate websites to do security updates. Something was disabling one security program at will. Some malicious cyber intelligence could even turn off the computer whenever I got close to fixing something.
