robby | Tomato Harvest

I wanted lots of tomatoes, and got them! It's kicking my ass, but I just picked 5 gallons. I will can 7 quarts and also freeze some. This is crunch time when real farmers work non-stop to bring in the crops. My goal is 60 quarts put away, and when I process this current lot. I'll be half there.

I did a good job staking the plants this year, and that is contributing to bigger individual tomatoes, and I'm being very efficient picking them, and have very little spoilage and waste.

I need to start processing bean and squash, as well.
