I'm reading Joyland by Stephen King, and slowly eating the plum harvest, and making coffee ice cream.. I'll have a second harvest, the elephant heart plums, in August. Late this afternoon, Halo and I go out on our second walk of the day. During this walk, we always stop and visit the neighboring goat. Halo is a herding dog with strong instincts and affinity towards herd animals, so it's nice for him to get close and personal with a friendly goat.
