Power Out
It's an outage affecting just 1400 customers, and I put my modem on battery power, and I still have the internet.
Editors note: The power came on after 3 hours, but our hero is now faced with home automation problems. Much of the device connection and programming is faulty. It's possible that one smart bulb is damaged.
I had to go to the philips website and connect the philips hue bulb to my tablet with bluetooth. After that, Alexa discovered the smart bulb and set it up.
