I planted 40 bush beans today, and plan to plant more in two weeks. I put them where the onions were, in the south bed. If all goes well, I will harvest in September. I am depending on Dinah and the cats to guard against squirrels.

It's almost time for my yearly physical, and I want to have my right knee evaluated. It would be wonderful to get it fixed, maybe with arthroscopic surgery, for a cost of few thousand dollars.
