June Update

I've been on a productive tear lately, replacing the well pressure tank, and much of the above-ground well piping. I also got a new-to-me lawn mower running, as my old one is just too beat-up.

The animals are fine and the kitten is a joyful little bundle of energy. He likes the dogs so much.

The tomatoes and okra have been transplanted, but we're in the middle of a cold spell. Lows tonight will be 48F.

Glad to hear you are among the living! Have you ever planted garlic? What do you do with garlic scapes?

I had to look up the word "scapes"! My garlic doesn't flower.

I have about 10 garlic plants growing right now, and the leaves are beginning to turn brown, so I may harvest in the next month. There are no scapes. Maybe I have soft-necked garlic?
