Victory Over Chaos!

Last night, as I was rushing to meet Celeste for dinner, I accidentally dropped my keys into a storm drain in the street. I couldn't believe it, when it happened. I had a sinking feeling, and my mind started racing though all the complications I faced, by not having my keys. I walked to the restaurant, and explained things to Celeste. She ordered dinner for me, while I bought a Super-Mag flashlight, and hustled a coat hanger. After dinner, we walked back to the drain, and looked for the keys. There was muck and standing water, and the steel grate seemed to be welded on. I couldn't see my keys, and it was about five feet to the bottom of the drain, with about two inches of water and muck. Celeste sat down on the curb, took the flashlight, and did a search, a spotted them under water. Even after she saw them it took me a couple of minutes to see them myself. The storm drain opened up wider, right against the curb, and if I made the hanger into a single wire hook, and laid flat on the grate, and extended my entire arm into the drain, up to my armpit, I could touch the keys. After about five minutes of lucky fishing, I snagged the keyring, and managed to pull them out.

I couldn't have recovered my keys without Celeste's sharp eyes, and moral support. She sat right down on the curb, in her dress, guiding the flashlight, and even offered at one point to reach in the drain and try to snag them. My admiration for her doubled last night, and after we were done, she laughed, and commented that it's never a dull moment with me. I've known so many crappy people, in my life, that someone of quality amazes me.

It means a lot to me, when someone sincerely and unselfishly helps me. I guess I'm tired of all the takers and psychic vampires. I'm still genuinely touched.

I sent you some sweetness just a second ago, in your LJ.

I have just banned anonymous posting in my journal, so you won't be bothered by cowards anymore. I hate 'banning', but this anomymous creep spreads nothing but low-minded abuse, and has the pretension to post a 'manifesto' to justify his fear of being accountable for this venom.

Wow! How are you doing? I thought you were mad at me!!!!

I deleted my posts because I didn't want you to be a target for Anonymous.

Have a beautiful Christmas!

Hope everything is rockin' in your world :)

Hello

No, I never have been mad at you. I still think you are the best. I read your journal regularly, and am happy that things are looking up for you. Anonymous has been posting in my journal, and for a while, was reasonably civil, but crossed the line. I didn't realize that someone could send you a message (now that your journal is friends only) by using old threads from my journal. If I had known that, I would have said hello much sooner :)

Okay, I'll put you back on the list. I thought you were friends with all my enemies and they turned you against me. Silly, I know, but it happens. I should stop going by the rules "friends are people who have the same enemies as you" - maybe not.

Thanks

OK, and I'll guard against any misunderstandings, and promise to always treat you properly. You have always been my absolute favorite person on LJ.
