Yeah, I hope I die before I get old

I had tickets to see The Who on Wednesday night, and now John Entwhistle has died of a heart attack. I saw them rock out in the late seventies, it was the first big concert I ever went to. RIP Johnny Boy, and maybe I should follow some younger bands.

Why don't you all f-fade away
And don't try to dig what we all s-s-say
I'm not trying to cause a big s-s-sensation
I'm just talkin' 'bout my g-g-g-generation

People try to put us d-down
Just because we g-g-get around
Things they do look awful c-c-cold
Yeah, I hope I die before I get old

i'd write some sad stuff but people on here seeem to have no patience for that (i.e deedee's death)
i love that "We neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeedd waaaaaaaaaaaaaaater............'"
and then the line about someones daughter.

No need for sad stuff.

He went out in top form. He had a great life and died peacefully in Las Vegas while on a national tour with The Who. I wish Elvis have gone out so nobly. Excellent, Rock on!

The concert is still on, I'm going Wednesday night with a high school buddy. I hear they'll have John Entwistle's body on stage, like a traditional Irish wake.
