Al Gore Was Wrong!

It's 35 degrees and snowing right now, but the snow isn't sticking to the ground. I went out last night to wrap and cover the little lemon tree. Colder weather, in the middle 20's is forecast tonight.

How does Al Gore respond? Adding insult to injury, with bad Ann Hecheian poetry:

One thin September soon
A floating continent disappears
In midnight sun
Vapors rise as
Fever settles on an acid sea
Snow glides from the mountain
Ice fathers floods for a season
A hard rain comes quickly
Then dirt is parched
Kindling is placed in the forest
For the lightning’s celebration
The shepherd cries
The hour of choosing has arrived
Here are your tools

Because Google Said So.

I put a 70 watt light bulb under the tarp to heat the lemon tree tonight. It took 3 extension cords, but these record low temperatures (25F) will kill citrus.
