It's true, and until we found Pogi while on one of our walks, Halo was bored too often. Having another dog around (especially a little scamp of a dog) opened up endless avenues of interest for Halo.

Bird Pests

I'm beginning to see evidence that birds are eating my almonds, so I've ordered a mechanical owl. In the meantime, I've broken open an old video tape, and thrown it across and over the tree, so many long strands of tape are undulating in the breeze. Last year, the birds got every almond;  now begins the battle of wits.
