Seeking Heat In A World Of Rats
I'm harvesting the jalapenos, but also tasting likely ones, trying to find the hottest for seed-saving. I have some that are big and fat, but mild, and I want hotter ones next year.
I finished the paving in record time, because I'm experienced, and didn't waste any effort. It looks really nice, and it's sort of a shame they will be hidden by the water tank. I used roofing paper as a weed barrier under the bricks, and when I pulled out the roll, I found where a rat had once been living. I set traps and eliminated food sources, so they're gone now.
