Can you imagine her meeting a succession of strange men that all want to beat her up? I'm not particularly shocked by her desire for a good beating, but there have to be psychopaths around that would literally like to beat her to death.

Years ago, I had a short-time girlfriend, that was fine when we were alone, but would "act up" when I took her out to bars. I was so dense, that she finally had to come out and tell me, "It's OK to slap me around when I start acting that way." Short-Time fer sure.
