(no subject)

I managed a bike ride today. It's supposed to rain all this week, so I braved the cold grey gloom outside. I am now a better man for it. The high point of the ride was the sound of bagpipes in the mist. It warmed the cockles of my heart, and evoked the soggy moors of yesteryear; and battles fought long ago.
