I keep my ear tuned for behind the scene developments, and I'm hearing that Obama might oust Biden, and replace him with Hillary as VP. Obama is meeting with Bill Clinton now.

Joe Biden's lunacy:

Just this week, he mused that Senator Barack Obama might have been better off with Hillary Rodham Clinton as his running mate.

"Hillary Clinton is as qualified or more qualified than I am to be vice president of the United States of America," Biden said Wednesday in Nashua, New Hampshire. "Quite frankly it might have been a better pick than me."

Earlier in the week, in Columbia, Missouri, Biden urged a paraplegic state official to stand up to be recognized.

"Chuck, stand up, let the people see you," Biden shouted to State Senator Chuck Graham, before realizing, to his horror, that Graham uses a wheelchair. "Oh, God love ya," Biden said. "What am I talking about?"

The Republicans have pulled ahead in the polls with their choice of Sarah Palin as VP. It might be sticky at first for Obama to change his mind about his VP, but it may ultimately give them a much better chance in November.

I think everyone would agree now, in hindsight, that Obama should have put Hillary on the ticket.

In the 70's, George McGovern replaced his VP choice, but then he lost anyway. The electoral vote (not the popular vote) will decide this Presidential election, but in one projection, the electoral vote could be decided by as few as 5 votes from some remote state like New Mexico.

I can't see that Joe Biden is helping Obama, he's just an old style Washington insider, who got very few votes from anyone in the Democratic primary.
