Hard Work
We got a big order for all of the medical monitors we have in stock, so I had to get creative to fix up some of the scratched plastics I have rejected previously.
Today, I was able to fill the little scratches and dings with spot putty, sand with 150# sandpaper on a sanding block, and then paint. They now all look good enough to ship, and that's great, considering these had been the ugly duckings. The heavier grit sandpaper, held flat on a sanding block is the key, because you can fill and then sand so only the scratches are filled, and the final result is a flat smooth surface.
I might be able to make it absolutely perfect by going through the whole process one more time, but I don't want to spend all Saturday here at work.
