I've been doggedly working for days, learning through trial and error how to remove the most complex ceramic figure from an eight-piece mold. It takes days of mixing, pouring and drying until you get to the moment of truth. I've ruined uncounted figures, but now I know the timing and sequence, and my last two are perfect. Hooray, Hooray!ll1

No, it's a process called slip casting, where liquid clay is poured into plaster molds.
