Land Of Giant Cats

I bought a kit to save some money by splitting flea med dosages for the cats. You have to weigh them and measure the right dose. All my cats are over 10 lbs, with the orange cat weighing a whopping 17.5 lbs. None of them are fat, either.

What kind of medication are you using for the cats?

I'm using Advantage II for extra large dogs. One tube is 4ml, which I can split into five .8 ml doses for my big cats.

I've read that the tick medications present in some dog meds are dangerous to give cats, so you have to be careful.

I have recently switched all my animals from meds with Fipronal (Frontline) to meds with what's in Advantage because the Fipronal didn't seem to be effective against fleas any more.
