Ouch!

I accidentally punctured the palm of my hand. I always go into a bit of shock when such stuff happens. My first aid kit is well stocked, and I quickly cleaned it, bandaged it and bound it, to stop the bleeding. I took a Vicodin and sat down for an hour.

I'm better now, but it still hurts. I really hate wounds.

I'm the same way. I get cold and clammy and shaky. Lots of pain receptors, especially in the hand. Self-mutilation is not fun!

That's pretty arcane, I'm surprised that you mention stigmata. Historians say that actual crucifixions were through the wrist, so those with palm stigmata are poseurs! The hand and wrist still hurt, and shifting to left-handedness is awkward.
