Halo Exploring The Canal

Halo in the canal, as seen from the railroad bridge. This is his favorite thing on walks, and it's interesting to see him maneuver through deep water, and find spots along the bank where he can scramble out.

In the picture he is along the water, to the left of his name in red.

Pogi goes off the leash as well, but only in a controlled circumstance. Halo probably doesn't need a leash at all anymore, but when we're near the road we use it.

Thanks, the canal pictured channels agricultural water from the San Joaquin river. I wish that the dog was easier to see, but he is a large collie type that we call the Australian shepherd.
