Project Update
Well, I cast a concrete tabletop, doing my best to follow directions. It looks rather rustic, but in a couple of days any number of finish steps can modify the look.
The color now is chocolate brown, but as it dries the color should fade to a terracotta red.
It took all my cleverness to thoroughly mix the color and concrete with limited water, I resisted an impulse to add more water, but you don't want soupy as you actually pack the concrete in the mold with your hands.
