Beastly Hot (High Of 108F)

The weather sites are reporting 107 F right now. I watered this morning, and the dogs are inside. Pogi went out for a minute and sat in the shade. I tossed him an ice cube, and when he finished that, he came back inside.

The old guy, Julio, who is staying in the house next door, stopped by about noon, as drunk as a lord. He hadn't any food, so I made him two big roast beef sandwiches and warned him about the heat, and told him to be careful and keep cool. He is the kind that could die in heat like this.
