China News

Here's an English language news story from "China News" about Michelle Obama's recent fund raising trip to San Francisco. The translation into English is about the worst I've seen, so bad that it borders on being hilarious.

I dispute 'borders on'! It just plain *is* hilarious. So bad that in places I couldn't even work out what they were talking about.

To quote from Michelle Obama's misericordiam: “From early morning to late at night, your president at work every day. Hardship and anxiety to climb up his wrinkled face, we never like this need your support.”

Do you suppose the writer simply ran the Chinese text through bad translation software?

Yes. Perhaps they even did that deliberately in order to undermine the content.
