Sunrise on Palawan

Looking east across the Sulu Sea. You can see Harina Island, a sea turtle sanctuary a few miles out. It's a tiny coral island, without water. Until recently it had a single caretaker, Mr Sabado, who along with his dogs guarded the turtles and their eggs. He would tap the living palm trees and extract a naturally fermented liquor.
