Eau de Mort
Jul. 2nd, 2006 03:50 pmAsI took Pogi on a no-leash morning nature walk by the bay, I noticed the carcass of a large seal on the beach. Pogi, didn't seem to be aware of it so I steered him towards the seal. He tentatively approached the seal and then touched it with his nose, and jumped back. To my amazement and horror, little Pogi, fresh from the groomers, did a side roll onto the dead seal, grinding himself against the carcass in doggy ecstasy. It took me all of 5 second to get him off of it, but the stench is still with me.
Pogi has now had a bath with Mango Tango, and I've changed by clothes, but my van still smells horrible. I think a shower is next for me, and probably a second bath for Pogi.
