Technology update
Jul. 14th, 2006 04:42 pmThe other day, I bought a tiny, inexpensive DV camera. It fits in my pocket, and seems to take nice enough video. The problem is that the software doesn't seem to be compatible with my system. I mickey moused a way to transfer the video to my computer, but the clips save as .asf and .asx files which I cannot edit with Adobe Premiere or Ulead VideoStudio. I can only watch the raw footage using the Microsoft Windows media player.
The camera is easy to use, but now I'll have to sit down and work out a way to edit the video.
