Waiting For An E-mail Or Fax.
Nov. 7th, 2007 03:11 pmWe're waiting to see if we'll get a medium sized order from a customer who's always trying for everything on the cheap. I'm professional and polite, but pretty firm about prices. We're not going to bust ass and just break even.
While I'm waiting, I'm touching up the paint on the roof of that '93 Plymouth van I bought used in 2004, and I'll admit that it's a Mickey Mouse job, but the price is right ($0). The finish was flaking on the roof, so I sanded off the loose paint cleaned it really well, and recoated it. The color match is excellent, and whatever, the final result looks way better than peeling paint.
Editor's note: Our hero did land the order at a reasonable price, so he'll be occupied making money for the rest of the week. It seems that he finished painting the Plymouth Voyager exactly in time, so now he can turn his attentions towards more lucrative endeavors.
