Slum Dog Millionaire

I'm being dragged away to see it tonight, and I'm not sure what to expect. From what little I know, the movie is based on a book, but Salman Rushdie has said the plot is ridiculous. The slum dwellers of Bombay also protested the name of the movie, not liking the supposed inference that their children were dogs.
