Swine Flu 2

The number of confirmed flu cases in the US is rising rapidly, and now more than 2000 people are hospitalized in Mexico with acute pneumonia. It seems that things are far worse than earlier thought in Mexico and the Mexican government had done a horrible job of managing and reporting this outbreak.

The cases that are popping up all around the US are still not terribly serious, and the US has 50 million doses of the antiviral Tamiflu on hand.

There are still no reported cases in the SF Bay Area, but there are both to the north and south of me.
