was a movie about two women, one in 1948, and the other in 2002, living somewhat parallel lives. The segments with Meryl Streep as Julia Child were interesting, but the rest of the movie was not so compelling. Of course, Meryl Streep is a legendary actress, at the top of her game.

Before the movie, I had to endure a half hour of commercials, for everything from local restaurants to upcoming NBC television shows. The tickets were $10.50 each, and still they tested my limits with these endless ads. I am officially done with the Hollywood movie thing. Is it any wonder that theater attendance is declining?
