My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys
Aug. 20th, 2009 06:17 pmI'm looking at a little 3 acre rancho in the Hayward hills, only 11 miles from here. The main house was built in 1950 and is in the middle of a remodel. The seller wants all cash, and I can't do that. My agent is going to see if I can put 40% down and get a mortgage for the balance.

The place had potential, and could have been fantastic, but it needed so much work. I don't have the time to spend on a mega project like that. The electrical was in shambles, no one had lived there in years, and the house was surrounded by these massive euycalyptus trees that had to come down.
