Would The Donald Be Proud Of Me?
Sep. 17th, 2009 06:37 pmI already have made offers on six more houses, but who knows what will happen. In a way, having so many offers rejected means I'm being careful. Some people are offering way too much, so if I get one, it will be a deal. The news on one with a pool, is that I didn't quite offer the most money, but my down payment is much higher, and that might swing it for me.
**********************************************************************************************
One of the six is gone, and I received a counter offer on another, but it was my least favorite house. I didn't agree to the counter offer, but I didn't rescind my original offer, so the door is still open a little. The last four properties I really like, and one of them is owned by Prospect Mortgage, They made me get pre-approved with them, before I could even submit an offer, and that was really an ordeal. I spent about 4 hours answering questions and faxing financials. I don't think too many other buyers have the patience to jump through so many hoops just to put an offer in on the house. It could be that house is mine.
