Back from Lowe's and now I have a fitting that will (hopefully) allow me to test my kiln burner manifold with propane. I also picked up some white ceiling paint, and a glaze to give texture to the living room walls. The base coat will be Putnam Ivory and this over glaze is called Earth Opal, so the effect should be subtle. I've always liked those faux plaster/Tuscan wall treatments, but often they are a combination of three colors, but I'm only doing two, and going for more a interesting texture rather than a color pop. I wish I had an old piece of drywall to test the paint combination before I do it for real. I might take it outside, and first do a paint test on one of the interior walls of the shed.
