Garden Update

I've got a fat mouse eating from my compost bins, and the simplest solution is just to stop composting kitchen scraps. I don't think we'll have another freeze, and I plan to put out the new broccoli plants about March 1. The honey bees are active, and feeding off the almond blossoms. I'd like to start moving some ornamental bushes, to make way for a new and very sunny vegetable plot, and I want to plant some grass seed in the spot that I pulled up all those pavers. I'm starting to fertilize the fruit trees. This may be the year I get some avocados.
