Prescription Meds

The preliminary reports are that Whitney Houston died from a combination of alcohol and prescription medications. Everybody and their brother seems to be now taking dangerous and addictive prescription medications. How did we ever survive without them? I can't help but think that the pharmaceutical companies and the medical establishment have really pulled a fast one on us.
