Training The New Dog

Pogi is getting more freedom, and seems pleased when he successfully finishes the portion of the morning walk that's off leash, or when he's out past the fence and comes back when he's called. He still screws up, but if he runs away, he'll come back in a few minutes. His punishment is that I close him up alone in the garage for a half-hour or so.

Halo is a powerful influence on Pogi. Halo is the dominant dog, and his behavior has been flawless. The two dogs are now sleeping outside in the sun, about four feet apart.
