Irish American Holiday
Mar. 17th, 2012 01:02 pmI'm seeing "teachings" on the wrong things that we Americans do in celebrating St Patrick's Day. I know the correct response to this is to sit meekly and accept a scolding.
The problem is that St. Patricks Day is really an American Holiday, not celebrated in Ireland. It's a tradition that formed with the Irish who came here to stay. So really, it's time to tell these people, who are so critical of an excuse to have fun...."FECK OFF".
