Global Warming?

My poor avocado trees are not liking the heat, and both have a mild degree of sunburn. I rebuilt the shade structure shielding the Zutano, and pointed it further south, to block more of the afternoon sun. The tender lettuce is also getting stressed, and I've taken to shading the new pepper plants. Cooler weather starts tomorrow, but things really heat up, into the triple digits, this weekend.
