Here's one of my finished pieces.

Hot

I had to drive to Concord today in the heat. The dogs really love to go, and I took them.
The late morning drive, going there, was not too hot, and I parked them in a shady spot for a couple hours with water. Halo is the top dog, and stays in the cab, with the windows wide open, and Pogi rides in the truck bed. The ride back, in mid-afternoon was hotter, and Pogi in the bed, has very little shade, and got a lot of sun. I made sure he had water, and drove back quickly, but he was so happy to get home. He quickly came in the house and snoozed, and ate ice cubes the rest of afternoon. He feels fine, but I'm not going to drive anymore in the extreme heat with the dogs.
