Farm Report For August 14

The ocean breeze kicked in about 5 PM, and suddenly, it was cool enough to venture out to weed the south bed, and tie back the huge hedge of my six tomato plants. I have fully formed peppers and little eggplant, along with hundreds of ripening tomatoes.

A little tuxedo cat was hunting among the beans this morning, so let's hope the rodent problem is solved. I'll bet he catches his share of gophers, as well.
