Building Toward A Better Tomorrow.
Jun. 5th, 2013 04:16 pmIt's going to be REALLY hot on Saturday..maybe 108 degrees F.
I'm building the shed floor, maybe two hours at a time, in the cool part of the day. Once the floor is done, I have to put a mesh barrier between the raised floor and the ground, to keep animals from living underneath.
In the Philippines, once I was staying in a very rustic hut, with walls of fiber mats and a thatched roof. I heard later, when they tore down the hut, that a giant cobra was also living there.
In the garden, little green tomatoes and two-inch squash are forming, and the peppers, eggplant and first planting of beans have flower buds.
