Avocado Blues

I've used up 2/3 of the stored rainwater already. I had planned on watering two avocado trees all summer, and the reality is that I can't water the single tree beyond August. One solution would be to start mixing in well water, but I have an extra reverse-osmosis filter that could make an additional ten gallons/week of pure water for the tree.

The thing is that this last tree is really not doing so well, even with these heroic measures. I'm the eternal optimist, so maybe if I jump through these hoops, the tree will begin to thrive.
