Ugh AT&T

I was planning on switching to another DSL provider, and had my own modem and wireless router poised for action, but AT&T won't allow another provider to use the line unless I pay for land-line phone service through AT&T,

So my best laid plans are thwarted, but at least I got a 6 month extension of ATT Internet at the price I'm paying now.
