Fire Nearby

There was a fire to the west of us this afternoon, and the house was in the plume of smoke, so I wanted to walk the dogs away from the smoke. Pogi was terrified, and was difficult to move, until he realized we were traveling away from the fire. We went down by the creek and then both dogs were happy. Pogi is such a trippy dog, with all sorts of anxieties. Even now, when it's all over, he staying close to me, and hasn't eaten his dinner. Halo is the opposite, he's not fearful. When there's a threat, he wants to confront it.
