I'm using both my stored rainwater and emergency filtered water this weekend, and on Monday, I hope to get a well guy out here.

I found a popped soccer ball, and wow, does Pogi like it! he's a toy kinda dog, where Halo doesn't like toys, and only plays chase.

It's been getting over 100 degrees, and I hope the lawn can withstand some dry conditions. I can water vegetables and fruit trees, and flush the toilet with stored rainwater.

Saturday, Part Deux

I harvested tomatoes and butternut squash. I'm only getting about a gallon of tomatoes at this point. I watered the garden, and purposely used all the rain water, then cleaned out the tank and refilled from the neighbor's faucet. I had to carry buckets of water to the south bed, but everything else I did with a hose.

The rain water had lots of algae, but I cleaned the tank and sanitized the new water with chlorine bleach. I have a separate stash of drinking water, as well.

Hot, Hot, Hot right now, and I'm tired. Time to lay on the couch and read.
