I'm reading posts on an internet conspiracy site, and I know much of it is scurrilous, but here's a realistic view:

Virologist Heinz Feldmann, who has studied Ebola for 20 years and is currently working on one of several experimental treatments, has called Liberia's airport controls "useless" and leading to "disaster".

Ebola has now escaped West Africa and will consume Third World Countries.

At some point, the US could be importing hundreds of cases of Ebola a day..

The hospital and CDC handled the Dallas case badly, and hundreds of additional clusters are inevitable...

I went out to a big auto wrecking yard, looking for door parts for my truck, but all the trucks are stripped of what I need. The parts that were there were broken in exactly the ways mine are. I ordered two new door latches on the internet, and will try to fix the existing door panel. It was a lot of walking, up and down lanes of half-stripped vehicles, and later I realized it was much hotter that I had planned for, and I got a lot of mid-day sun exposure. Tomorrow, I'm going to fix plastic panels with hot glue, and drill out rivets to remove the inner door handle. Eventually, I think I have to remove most of the inner door assembly, to get at the back of the outer door handle. I'm doing it methodically, and watching YouTube videos of guys doing it. One of the hardest elements was getting the window crank off, and I've now done that twice. It has a hidden snap ring that must be popped off. Of course, you can't see the snap ring, so there is a tricky, frustrating technique to remove it. I wouldn't be surprised if some body shops would charge $1000 for these door repairs.

All the disassembly and panel repair is done and I have both latches out. The seat cover should arrive tomorrow, and the door parts are not far behind. I also have to patch a tire and buy a battery. With a little luck this could be finished in a week.
